Snow

We all enjoyed the snow this winter, however I don't think anyone is enjoying its effects these past few weeks. We have been fortunate and spared from all of the flooding in the area.

Wyatt

We don't have near the number of photos of Wyatt this time around as we do for Mallori, those we do have are all from swimming. Here he's standing with his 400 freestyle relay team right before their swim in Detroit Lakes. This was Wyatt's first experience on the varsity "A" relay team and they took first place, very exciting...

here he had a very close call on one of his dives (watch the judges flinch)...

these are a little less nerve-racking to watch...

Mallori

OK, is this not one of the saddest things you've seen. Mallori's Girl Scout Troop had '80's night at the roller skating rink. The troop leaders "forgot" to tell them just their troop was the only ones participating in the fun. They received lots of strange looks from all of the others skating, but had a blast anyway... this one is from the choir concert in December...
Mallori's basketball team took second at this tournament in February, two days before this she had taken a pretty good wack to the right eye in practice. She was very thankful that her shiner wasn't too obvious in the photo (so she thought)...
and finally, here Mallori is doing the backstroke... it is hard to believe swimming will resume for both of the kids in one week.

Step back in time

In the spring of '07 we moved a few trees into our yard, unfortunately this beautiful Liden in the front yard did not make it. We had it replaced in September, from day one the kids had been itching to climb it, so before it went away they got their wish...

Better late than never?!?

How's this for on the ball...Wyatt decided that he was too old to dress up for Halloween so he had himself a little movie gathering with friends instead, but Mallori went all out. She is quite scary.
